thoughts send me on a carousel

I feel more inspired recently to waste time writing lists and such to the masses.

Today I can't stop smiling, I'm all happy and giddy and excited about lots of stuff; none of which involves work, but whatever, it's only work right?

So yes, a list of happy things coming up this summa:
1. Matthew Good Wednesday!
2. Golf Tournament/FREE 54-40 concerto Saturday
3. Drew + co visit June18!
4. English Adam visits!
5. Blue Jays Game + Toronto shananigans with the Ang June26
6. Wine Tour with Bon Bon and Mama Bon Bon July 11
7. Cabinin with the Jessta and Jonsta
8. Ultimate Frisbee & Tuesday Wings
9. Warped warped warped
10. drivin to Calgary with the Mikeys

this list is gettin a wee bit long but as one might expect after writing a list, I feel even betta now, especially since hockey's on this evenin... Tampa Gaybar's goin down down down...
:)

and as a wise bon bon once said, don't forget to live it like you're gonna die tomorrow! laters

and shaweetness follows?

There's nothing like sore muscles man, they rule. And today they rule especially due to Ultimate Frisbee. I love it. Andrea convinced me to join. It's great, every girl should join ultimate frisbee. The men are of high numbers and the women are scarce! We run around every Wednesday night, get free BBQ at Elixir and dance the night away (well except for last wednesday night EH ANDREA!) It seems like a bit of a geek-magnet however. Most are super- enthused engineers and grad students.

So what's new, pussycats? As fer me me me, I'm bored bored bored and suddenly afraid of becoming a cold-hearted biach. Was reading some of my older blogs and can't imagine giving a shit about things so much anymore. Is this normal? Is it the meditation I've been doing? Is it the fact that I'm moving home in 3 months? Do I even give a shit?
Who cares!

Well, I kind of do care; because you know, to me it is important to be sweet as a person. And I think I am becoming sour. We all like sweetgrapes rather than sour ones therefore I'd rather be sweet. Did I mention I also have been craving grapes this weekend. Thanks cupcake.

At any rate, I've been noticing much sweetness around me on this today and wanted to try and spread it around somehow. So, try not to become sour until you are old with reason, friends, and I promise to try too.

float around....hang out on clouds.... have a hangover

I get weird thoughts when I am hungover. This hangover day I am pondering the question "Why do we drink? "
For me, the main reason I drink is to make other people more interesting. I think I become more, um, interesting as well. When I am sober I think I 'm Amber Adams, when sloshed I become supermodel Vendulla gone go-go dancer!
Still, you may be asking yourself "what is it that lies behind the mystic, the allure, the experience, of a great drunken evening? "
I have figured out a way to analogize for you. Relate a cold beverage to your favourite restaurant. You like it for the experience. The FULL experience. This includes the service, the personalities, the vibes, and the Quality of what is laid before you. Just ask no more of a cocktail then you would a plate of pate in front of you, man. It is important to enjoy the atmosphere as well as the company of Captain Morgan.

So that is all folks. It is Friday again. I feel like shit. Have a great weekend!

TV should go to hell

I don't like TV. From time to time I give it another try and am always disappointed. Everything on TV sucks. It's tricky to explain how sucky it is. To help you understand, visualize a blubberous, pimple-covered ass. Now keep that picture in your brain for a few hours. That's usually what it's like for me to watch TV.

There's just not adequate violence! Let's have more agro. Nobody wants to watch 'Friends,' with some whiner that calls himself "Chandler" or whatever the hell his yuppy handle is. That's weak. Let's have a program where it's just a chick named KILLER that runs over people.

You know, violence builds up moral fiber; everyone needs it once in a while to keep them on track. We don't want to raise a nation of wimps so let's not infest the TV with wimpy ass shows.

If we had a few more of those medievil warrior TV shows on, TV would be a lot better. I won't give them all away if you haven't seen them, but trust me, they kick ass. I think they are on space channel.

One, big, dark.... blog.

I think God called in sick yesterday, and as it so happens, I called in sick today. It was a combo of the Napanee Saturday, the popcorn, the angry feeling in my stomach and a flu of sorts that made last night one of mad chunder. ugh. And no, it was not partying or alcohol induced smartasses!
So I'm feelin better now physically but work is not sounding so tempting seeing as I still look like something straight out of night of the living dead. That's cool though, I've been bummin around all afternoon, listening to some sinister AFI and planning what concerts to go to this summer to cheer me up!
So far the following big ones are on my list:

1. Aug13 Warped Tour Montreal (drewsin you betta hook me up with those backstage passes brotha!)
2. Aug14 Warped Tour Toronto
3. July1 Sam Roberts Quebec City

oh yeah and 54-40 will be in kingston June5- not my fav band but I figure a free outdoor show with a little chronic and beer will be alright.
things are lookin up.

in the meantime I have nothing exciting going on, but I'm dreadin' BC more than ever now. Can I stay in Kingston forever?
