Thursday, March 31, 2005 Well we all know that easter weekend exists merely for gongshow purposes. I learned many lessons, some gong-induced.. okay so they were all gong induced. Let's just say that there truly is no such thing as "just one more sniff" of tequila with Dad- ever! But I feel it was all worthwhile. The fun part of the fact that most of my aunts and uncles are separated is that it's always a surprise as to whom's coming for dinner. This year Uncle Scotty & Alisa, a cousin Erin, a Heather, and a Paul came for an epic ham feast, followed by cheesecake and copious amounts of champagne, tequila, mezcal, 151 proof kahlua, and, of course, Cat Stevens. I wrote all of that Easter sheezy a couple days ago but didnt want to waste some perfectly horrible writing. Speaking of which, I'm giving up on school today, straight up. Yes, I am leaving this asshole school now, going gymming, then going to see a sexy Swedish Prince Eric Christoff for a healthy dose of silliness and happy and eric! and his friend Raffer too. I realise this is getting long but there are other blissful happenings in my near future that give me warm fuzzies in sharing: April 8: Last day o' class (if you're a chump!) and Arts County Fair! April 21: Bedouin Soundclash April 23: Amber's last exam! Sister Andrea comes to visit! Kingston Christine comes to visit too! April 24: Stereophonics April 28: Weezer maybe? April 30: Hello Kitimat! (goodbye David Suzuki) and in closing here's some funny pictures recently sent to me... yes that's me and Shanny, then Sarah, Shan, Amber, Andrea. and still every bit as obnoxious! ![]() ![]() Wednesday, March 16, 2005 It is a picture of the demise of a suicide jumper taken shortly after the jump. It shows him with his insides now on the outside. You will see the look of horror on the faces of the bystanders. The faces of the bystanders is why I believe this is real... http://home.att.net/~songs2/Jumper.jpg | Thursday, March 10, 2005 AND the secondary source of joy today has stemmed from analyzing my fellow MMAT students during a gay lab period. My favourites include: The oafs: large, male, slow-moving, slow-thinking The white girls: a dog's breakfast of giggles and eerie weirdness The pot-smoking militarian permanently-vacant-looking Chinese guy The flirty Philippino guy who is always accidentally falling into a girl's lap The obnoxious chick who seems to fail everything (and no, Smartasses, that isn't me!) Finally, there's Eric and I. Today I realized that we are an annoying presence in the classroom as well; it never occurred to me that we are annoying. It's given me a fantastically fresh feeling of power, being annoying. My name is Amber and I am annoying. I am irritating. I annoy people. Who really thinks about the lives of annoying nerds and retarded dumbasses, dogs and lizards, serpants and mussels? Each of these things are disturbances in an endlessness that will never be fully realized by anyone anyways. Another day, another annoyance like a sausage on a plate which will be gone in some years, months, maybe even days or hours if you eat sausage. On a more normal note everything is still happy, Amber is still passing (maybe), adoring dat interesting creature ereek, heading to Kitimat in May, still drinking lots of coffee and STILL trying to blog random thoughts into a understandable format but not succeeding. In fact it seems to be getting worse... |
