2 more days

AGGHHHGG!!!
only 2 more days to spend with mon ereek and I'm starting to freak out!!
Mom's here today, then Eric and I are off to Vic tomorrow, then to Kitimat I go on Saturday! Been having an extremely fun week filled with fantastic food, Eric, wine, 20C weather, Eric, shopping, Heather, Sani, Gong, Eric, Drunken waitresses, CCR, Eric.... I don't want to go :(

But I'm rollin back into town for a couple of weddings (Julia and Clarissa) and of course the EPIC road trip we have planned july 8-15 (okanagan, camping, calgary, warped etc.)... so hopefully this kitimat thang will fly by.

Ok, back to my ink stain cleaning! woooo!

all I want is more beer more beer!

It's my last exam today so I thought I'd write a little Allo!
Celebrations have been in force since thursday! Following our evil exam I found myself in one of those fantastic cranky amber moods, but a little gym therapy took care of that while Ereek wandered down to Granville Island to pick up ingredients for the evening's feast.
I am trying to learn how to cook things... baby steps :) So I slowly chopped garlic and onions while sweet ereek ran around making brushetta, vegetables with smoked gouda (mmm my favourite cheese!), and homemade angel hair pasta with creamy yumminess and scallops! Making pasta is so cool! it's like a play-dough fun factory!
Around supper time the other Heplers had returned home (Dan and Billy), and Sabrina (from school) and Christine (from Kingston) had wandered over too. daaaliciousness to the max!
We mumbled downtown to see some Bedouin reggae rhythms at the media club and they were kickass as usuall! The acoustics were shaweet, there were tonnes of happy laid back weed-smokin BCites groovin AND I was with Eric, which made it all the more happy! Definetly my favourite thing EVER is good live music with good company.... ahhh...
I'm so scared about moving to little kitimat and being lonely with no tunes, but i have a feeling there's other cool shit waiting for me there... like bears and cougars and tasty fish!
Anyways, I'd best get to the ol' technical writing exam so that I can begin drinking after! Paul and TIm are in town tonight to say goodbye, and Eric's friend is having an Eviction Party (as in, the goal of the party is Eviction)! Shouldn't be a problem.

the good, the bad, and the fugly

The Good: Arts county fair was hilarious yesterday! I somehow lost everyone, left in a confused daze, and ended up on my bus home only to be awoken by the woman who's shoulder I had passed out on... good times! Hope I didn't drool.
The Bad: Exams make me want to puke. I just want to be free and enjoy my last few days in Vancouver! Hiss!!
The Ugly: This morning as I was loading the washer, I was greeted by a horrendously disturbing sight: David Suzuki naked. Shaweet Jesus, what in the hell did I do to deserve THAT?! I am puzzled as to why he was roaming nakedly around the condo but I'll certainly exercise more caution next time I decide to leave my room! ewwwah. He even had the creeps to creepily say "Good morning Miss Amber, how are yooooouuuu?" In my shock all I could do was sheepishly look away and say "woahhh". I feel so violated. Sick!!

cyber-grumble

Earlier today as I was sitting in the dentist's chair with multiple needles prodding in and out of my gums, I was having these uncontrollable thoughts of evil-doings. Now that I am home, hungry, and afraid to cook something for fear of the freak in my kitchen, I am re-considering the construction of a Suzuki voodoo doll. It would be ugly but it would bring me so much joy!!
Sounds morbid, you say? well I am an Adams.... shut up.

I feel like a loser when there's no comments; therefore, comments begone! but thank you to my splendid friends and famille for the past comments. From now on, if you want to leave me comments, email is good, phone is good, visit better!

you're a comment.

GET OUTTTT!!! (to be read in the awwnold accent of course)

I'm feeling EXTREMELY hostile toward my roomate's boyfriend today. Like every day, he's roaming around here looking like David Suzuki, cooking himself something remniscent of our compost box in Saanichton, waiting for Laurie to get home from work. Does he not have a home? Does he have hobbies? Any interests besides watching CNN and football and cooking smelly things?

Amber's Today List:
-clean
-laundry
-pack some boxes up
-gym
-cut eric's hair (muahahahha!)
-do some presentation shit
-do some polymer shit
-throw Suzuki's socks and shoes out the front door into the rain

Ahh lists have always had an uplifting affect on my spirits!
