hahahahheeeheehohoho

I'm going to die laughing!

Well this morning I woke up and felt hungover and meh, but my cheerfulness was restored with a combination of an epic Eric chat and the following happiness-inducing things. Lucky for you; I made a list! If ever you're feeling blah I would advise as many of the following as possible! Good mood, guaranteed!

AMBER'S LIST OF THINGS THAT INCREASE GOOD MOODNESS:
1. Ride a bike; hardcore is ok but I would advise slowly and leisurely on flat terrain for optimal scenery-viewing. How can you not be happy riding a bike?
2. Cook something you've never cooked before. Make an event of it. Go to the grocery store, find a foreign ration, and research up a recipe. Don't be lazy. Eggplant did it for me yesterday... Today it will be some sort of squash maybe.
3. Paint something with a friend- it doesn't matter how much you suck at painting, in fact if you suck it is much more fun. Make sure your friend isn't an artist or anything like that.
4. Call Eric. Uncontrollable laughter is generally the result. He's studying today but I'm sure he won't mind.
5. This is the most important one: Listen to Frank Zappa. Just do it. Start with Jewish Princess and Yellow Snow. Great googly moogly!

Well there you go; another life-changing list. You'll thank me someday!

lalala

The Internet is gay I've decided but I am too weak to rage against it. So I've decided to take baby steps toward overcoming this time-waster. Starting with the little quizzes that Arya sends out.

But all of this is meaningless and trivial anyways because, Guess what? I'm going to Vancouver For August Gong Weekend!!!!!

It will be an early b-day celebration (and good bye party... noooo) for the lovely BIFF (UHH I MEAN HEATHER), complete with LUCKY APPRECIATION DAY on the 30th. Also, sweet sweet ereek will have rocked his Stats final and Christine will be all settled in with her beau visiting. :)

Speaking of shaweetness, here's some of Ereek picnicing on my floor Sunday; the return of that pesky ankle sprain rendered us somewhat immobile for the weekend.... :)

looks like rain

A a big mean ol' cloud has been covering up the Kitimat Valley this week, making for a very sleepy, cranky, eric-missing Amber. However I take comfort in the fact that I can cyber- bitch on my blog to you lovely people.

Anyways we had a smashing Canada Day Long Weekend with our wonderful gongs and spectacular outdoors....I provided a small re-cap here for your viewing pleasure! Unfortunately (but, knowing my clutziness, not surprisingly) I sprained my ankle Saturday night and we weren't able to go to the Blue Lakes on Sunday.... I blame the beer goggles for missing stairs.
It was just as well though because we slept in Sunday and went to Prince Rupert!

Blab la bla. Ok time for a list:

Amber's TO DO LIST for this rainy horrendous Day:

1. 10am-11:30am: look for Vancouver living quarters
2. 12pm: Gym!
3. 3pm: walk to the library, get some painting and mountain books, and some dinner ingredients. (should be WILD!)
4. 6pm: dinner and drinks with the party people
5. 8pm: painting with Newf
6. 10pm: bedsers

Ahhh what a CRRRRAZZZZY life! Whew I better slow down here.

But we are hiking GREEN mountain tomorrow, which makes the spirits very jovial indeed. Hopefully GREEN MOUNTAIN will stay true to my mental image of majestic peaks infested with fantastic, oversized, budding pot plants and hippie harvesters equipped with guitars and smoking gear.
