2006 is looking swell

Well, Happy Freekin New Year!! Now that the holidays have come to a halt and I'm back in school, the blog beckons. Christmas was great fun, dinner with the FAVE UNCLES was absolutely gongtastic (what, with yoga-guru uncle Tong, and uncle Scott's stories of friends puking on Granny's stove, HAHAHHA.... oh nevermind.). Also, I didn't seem to irritate my immediate family as much as in previous years. Things are lookin' up!
As for New Years Eve, I'm pretty sure I had a nice New Years Eve. Eric, Sani, Heaths, Captain Morgan and other party-goers say otherwise, but my final memories are good ones; of the coolness of Jason's bathroom floor against my pounding temple, the mute company of his toilet...

As for my living situation, the difficult roomie has been left behind. Now she will perform her Elk-like mating songs at ungodly hours for some other unsuspecting victim, no doubt. In contrast, my three new roomies are very nice. They bring me treats! They eat supper together! They sit and chat every night! They buy toilet paper! They wash their dishes!!! I like them all so much that I am going to make them grandma's beef stroganoff on Sunday night. By "them" I mean Char (a business grad student from Turkey), Alice (a 3rd year biology student from ?), and Irene (a 4th year human kinetics student from Richmond).

It's nice to have nice people to live with when I am missing Eric so. As for zee beautiful Eric, he is seemingly well-adjusted in wee Elkford, with his greenery-appreciating, cooking, Red Hot Chili Pepper-listening roommate!!! Sounds like a match made in heaven. Speaking of matches made in heaven, one year ago today Ereek officially became my boyfriend over delicious seafood and fine wine. I am very proud to have this goofy, smart, well-music-listened fellow in my life and reserve all bragging rights! Go team!
Sorry for the ramble, thanks for reading, and I wish you all tasty food, good company and abundant silliness in 2006!
