in the mud and scum of things

"LLARGH" is the word of the week, folks. Or "meh", "bah" or any other word that resembles a grunt of some kind. School's pretty lax these days but too time consuming because of all the studying involved and what not. I think I failed my second mech exam, but it was in the name of a good eric-visit, so all is well.

I really hate mech. Some people love finding out how machines and beams and things work, and some people love applying their Mohr's circles and that but I just can't stand it. Not so much that it's boring, but, well... wait, yes, that's exactly it-it's boring. It doesn't interest me whatsoever. I can't even feign effort.
Unfortunately, this evil mech is the key to graduation so I need to muster some effort from somewhere, and soon. LLARGH.

Otherwise things are good. I have a job lined up for May 1- a fun job that pays well and doesn't involve stupid circles. It's with Cimarron Pipeline Integrity group in Calgary. I will be managing pipeline integrities by day, and tormenting Kensington with sister by night. Yes, two scatterbrained Adams kids will be living together with our childhood friend and household organiser, Rachel. We have a pool table, which I guess is good for attracting visitors who play pool. We have also planned housewarming festivities for the beginning of May. I would like it to be a 007 party, where guests will enjoy olives, aviators, bubbly and martinis. Andrea wants to have a Tequila housewarming, where guests will enjoy a screaming, puking Amber. It's a bit of a toss-up....

At any rate, I have been following the footsteps of my wonderful non-drinking Eric these days so either theme will do. It really does make for better weekends. Speaking of which, Eric's coming again this weekend so I'd best get to work.
