In preparation for our trip, I've been working a second job at the liquor store across the street from my apartment. It's super-fun, easy, and the clientele is generally very amicable.
But there are always exceptions to the rule. Last night my coworker, Lori, rang through a man's beer. As he was leaving the store, he noticed me and stopped at the door to look me up and down. This couth individual then acknowledged me with a "hey babe", and made some thrusting motions at me. I was so shocked. I didn't know what to do, so I gave him the finger and walked away. Then he left the store, only to return a minute later to shout "and I like that finger of yours!".
Lovely. Is this what Calgary men are all about? There seems to be a pattern forming.
